SARATOGA -- A 27-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed just before noon on Highway 9 near Saratoga Avenue, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.

The man had been hospitalized in critical condition following the crash, deputies said. His identity was not immediately released, pending notification of his family.
