ANTIOCH -- An Antioch woman shot early Saturday morning is expected to survive, but police are still searching for the person who pulled the trigger.
The 20-year-old was brought to the emergency room of a hospital around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning with three gunshot wounds, according to Antioch police Lt. John Vanderklugt. The injuries were not serious, Vanderklugt said.
Officers were dispatched to the hospital, where they questioned the victim and her friends, Vanderklugt said, then later found evidence of a shooting in the area of the 2100 block of L Steet. Police would not confirm that the scene was related to the shooting that injured the woman.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
