The Amanda Bynes show is getting stranger by the day.
Bynes locked herself in a boutique dressing room for nearly two hours Monday, after taking a pile of clothes inside to try on.
Bynes was shopping at Kin, a supposed hip store in West Hollywood, according to TMZ. The clerks allegedly heard a banging sound coming from inside the dressing room every 10 minutes or so.
Sounds like she needed to extra time to get all her personalities to agree on what they wanted to buy.
One clerk made a distress call to another employee who was off-duty, saying he was concerned about Bynes being in there so long. The second employee drove to the store to help, to no avail. Bynes wouldn't come out, telling them, "I need more time."
Look at it this way: The more time she spends inside a dressing room, the less chance she has to get behind the wheel of a car.
Bynes finally came out after an hour and 45 minutes. She bought a pair of stilettos, a pair of sunglasses and a few other things. Then, in true Lindsay Lohan-like fashion, she allegedly noticed she tried on a bathing suit top that was underneath her dress and told the clerk she forgot it was on. Bynes then paid for the suit, noticed a few photographers lingering outside, and asked the clerk to call her a cab.
Maybe she's not so crazy after all.
