CONCORD -- A gunshot victim was arrested Thursday night when he was found with a firearm, police said.

The shooting was reported about 9:08 p.m. on the 2800 block of Garden Avenue, just off Port Chicago Highway. No one else was injured.

Officers responding to the call found a car with multiple bullet holes, but no one inside. They found the victim, a 24-year-old Concord man, shortly thereafter.

Police did not release any suspect information Friday. Detectives are investigating the shooting.
