A woman was hospitalized Friday after the vehicle she was driving ran into a power pole, the California Highway Patrol said.

The one-car wreck happened at 4:49 p.m. on Stone Valley Road at the Green Valley Creek Trail, said CHP Officer Ralph Caggiano. The woman, who was driving a four-door Land Rover, was taken by ambulance to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with unknown injuries, Caggiano said.

No other details were immediately available.
