We're live blogging E!'s red carpet show and the Emmy telecast. Let' get the show on the road.

3:00 p.m.: Ryan Seacrest is in the house. It's just not a red carpet without him. Ryan is giving us old celebrity gossip. Sofia Vergara engaged! Claine Danes pregnant!

3:02: Jesse Tyler Ferguson from "Modern Family" is first up. Says dream episode is to go to Columbia to meet Gloria's family. Sounds good to me.

3:04: Didn't take long for Guiliana's baby pictures to come out. Her dress is a boring (safe) black, but the slit is a nice touch.

3:05: A mani cam? Really, are we that interested in celebrities hands?

3:06: Ryan is wearing Christopher Bailey by Burberry.

3:10: Kat Dennings from "2 Broke Girls." Guiliana is mesmerized by her "girls." Let's pray there's no wardrobe malfunction. She looks good in red.

3:11: She's wearing J Mendel. Those shoes are crazy. And in case you wanted to know, she's wearing OPI nail polish. Seriously.

3:13: "Why did you choose this nail color?" Journalism at its best.

3:15: It's Blossom (aka Mayim Bialik). Another red dress. Hers is not nearly as revealing as Kat Dennings. She looks like she's channeling the "Golden Girls."

3:16: Guiliana asking mom advice. Have a feeling this is going to be a theme all night.

3:22: Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann. I'm blanking as to why they'd be at the Emmys.

3:22: Oh yeah, "Girls." He's an executive producer.

3:23: Padma Lakshmi of "Top Chef" in orange. Like Mann, she's breaking the black and red color barrier in orange.

3:25: Jimmy Fallon: "Amanda Bynes gave me a ride over."

3:26: Unfortunately, he's probably right about the Honey Boo Boo jokes. It's just a matter of time.

3:30: Max Greenfield as Christian Grey? I don't see it. He's willing though.

3:34: An almost unrecognizable Lena Dunham from "Girls." Short hair suits her.

3:36: Eric Stonestreet ("Modern Family" and Charlize Theron? Apparently, that's the twitter rumor. Stonestreet denies it.

3:39: Ginnifer Goodwin's dress is missing some material. Looks like a four-year took some scissors to it.

3:41: It's Jon Cryer's first year nominated as lead actor in comedy. How can we pay attention to what he's saying with that shot of Connie Britton in a sparkly, grey dress in the background?

3:43: Another Modern Family castmate: Sarah Hyland. She looks like she came straight out of the pages of "Pride and Prejudice."

3:43: I'm really getting creeped out by this mani cam.

3:46: Connie Britton is a little too tanned, but she looks amazing.

3:48: Her "Nashville" co-star Hayden Panettiere joins the conversation. Too bad Connie didn't school her about fashion. Not digging the blue sash.

3:55: Heidi Klum bringing back (bad) memories of that horrible time when all the reality show hosts hosted the Emmys.

3:56: The color of her dress is sea foam. Of course, she's showing leg.

3:57: Aziz Ansari proposes new Emmy category: Outstanding baby in a drama or miniseries. We can get behind that.

3:58: Melissa McCarthy: Is that the same dress from last year?

3:59: Tina Fey always looks so not Tina Fey without her glasses.

4:00: Ryan Lochte to be on "30 Rock" as a "sex idiot."

4:05: Sofia Vergara looks like a sparkly mermaid. Can she breathe?

4:15: Julianne Hough: Another mermaid look.

4:16: Hough: Ryan Seacrest is very romantic. And he does not snore. Good to know.

4:18: Jim Parsons is presenting with Zooey Deschanel.

4:19: Julianna Margulies: Pretty floral pattern or a couch exploded on her?

4:20: Christina Hendricks giving Kat Denning's a run for her money.

4:27: Nicole Kidman -- is there any award show she doesn't go to?

4:28: Michael J. Fox on returning to prime time TV. "Why just sit around getting fat and old?

4:29: Claire Danes in bright yellow "bump-friendly" dress. She's having a "gentle" pregnancy.

4:32: Lucy Liu's dress is made out of metal, but it's comfortable, she says.

4:33: Zooey Deschanel looking very traditional and princessy. Somehow, expected something more quirky.

4:35: Ricky Gervais says he won't be hosting Golden Globes again next year.

4:36: More mommy talk with Jane Krakowski. On having more children; She wishes her "store had later hours."
