LIVERMORE -- A Livermore gymnastics facility is hosting a cartwheel-a-thon from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday to benefit the Taylor Family Foundation, a organization that enhances the quality of life for children lwith life-threatening and chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities.

West Coast Training Center is hosting the fundraiser. Participants asked to gather pledges for the number of cartwheels or pay a flat registration fee of $15 to take part in the event.

The event includes performances by the center's gymnasts as well as food and carnival games for kids. The center hopes to have at least 150 participants for the event.
