PITTSBURG -- Police have identified the last of three men suspected in the fatal shooting of a Brentwood man at a popular Pittsburg park earlier this month, and are asking the public's help in finding him.

Clarence Cater, 18, of Antioch is suspected of being one of three people involved in the Sept. 7 slaying of 18-year-old Dayvon George at Buchanan Park, Pittsburg police Lt. Ron Raman said Tuesday. Police delayed releasing his identity out of concerns it may compromise the investigation, Raman said.

The other two suspects, 21-year-old Ohmad Burks of Pittsburg and a 15-year-old unidentified male, have been in custody since being arrested Sept. 13. Both have been charged by the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office with murder, Raman said. The 15-year-old will be tried as an adult, he said.

Authorities said Cater, who police said also has a residence in Stockton, Burks, and the 15-year-old were part of a rival rap group that had an ongoing feud with George over the past few years. Police said the three confronted George and tried to rob him before one of the suspects pulled a gun and shot him in the back.
