BRENTWOOD -- A Brentwood man has been charged with four felony counts of inappropriately touching a child, police said Wednesday.
Ronald Schwartz, 65, a real estate broker in Danville, was charged by the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office with two counts of oral copulation on a minor and two counts of engaging in oral copulation and penetration with a child 10 years old or younger, Brentwood police Sgt. Tim Herbert said.
Schwartz turned himself over to authorities at the Martinez Detention Facility and remains in custody on $2 million bail.
Police investigated the case for three months after one of the victims came forward and told family, Herbert said.
"As with all these cases, is there a chance that there may be more victims out there?" Herbert said. "Of course there is, but we'll have to wait to see on that one."
