Bay Area News Group political editor Lisa Vorderbrueggen will moderate the forum, which will be televised on Comcast Channel 26 and AT&T Channel 99, sub-menu Pinole TV.
Another meet-and-greet event, for Hercules City Council candidates, will be held Thursday. The League of Women Voters of West Contra Costa County will moderate.
Three incumbents -- Gerard Boulanger, William Wilkins and Mayor Dan Romero -- face four challengers -- Bill Kelly, Sherry McCoy, Hector Rubio and Phils Simmons -- on Nov. 6.
Residents will be able to question candidates face-to-face and also phone in or email questions, said the event's coordinator, Hercules resident Glenna Phillips. She said the League of Women Voters will craft and select the questions.
The meet-and-greet will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hercules City Council chamber, 111 Civic Drive, Hercules. The number for call-in questions is 510-799-8205; questions also can be emailed to email@example.com.
