Now they'll definitely have to install metal detectors on the set of "American Idol."
Barbara Walters reported on "The View" Thursday that she spoke with Mariah Carey, who allegedly told her she was concerned because "Nicki (Minaj) walked off the set and multiple people heard Nicki say, 'If I had a gun I would shoot the (expletive).'"
As you may or may not know (or care), Minaj and Carey nearly came to blows Monday while "Idol" was auditioning singers in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Walters said Carey told her, for safe measure, she's hired extra security. Carey also allegedly said Minaj didn't apologize, but told her she loves her. Minaj also said they may be fighting again.
Minaj, of course, responded to this news Thursday on Twitter: "I don't call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave."
Well ... duh.
Minaj continued, "I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we've had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn."
This will undoubtedly end well.
Judge Keith Urban, who was caught in the crossfire of divatude Monday, told Extra on Wednesday he felt like "the U.N." "I love it, I gotta say. I love working with passionate people. I love artists. Everyone just sort of expressing themselves. It's a very alive and very invigorating work environment."
Translation: Both those women scare the heck out of me.
