Two men have been charged with murder in connection with the discovery of a dead body in Rodeo almost a year ago, according to the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office.

Anthony Ramos' body was found in the early morning hours of Oct. 28, 2011, in the area of San Pablo and Rodeo avenues. The 22-year-old from Sacramento had a gunshot wound in his head, and investigators said they believe he was killed elsewhere and dropped off in Rodeo.

The investigation led to 27-year-old Jesse Evans and 25-year-old Isaiah Duckworth, both of Sacramento, both of whom were arrested in Sacramento on Sept. 25, Sheriff's Office spokesman Jimmy Lee said.

Evans was in court on an unrelated case when he was arrested and he is in custody in the Martinez Detention Facility in lieu of $5 million bail, Lee said. Duckworth remains in custody in Sacramento on an unrelated case.
