BAY POINT -- A car wreck that left a vehicle with a child in it on its side has forced the far left lane to be closed on eastbound Highway 4 at Bailey Road, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred around 2:17 p.m., but details of what happened were not available. The child inside the car, as well as the other occupant, appeared to be OK, the CHP said. Any injuries appeared to be mild, the CHP said.
The CHP said an initial investigation showed the occupants inside the car to be OK, and any injuries to be mild.
The CHP did not say when the lane would be reopened. A tow truck was en route to move the vehicle that's on its side. No ambulances were at the scene, the CHP said.
