ANTIOCH -- The Contra Costa County Coroner's Office has identified the man found stabbed to death Saturday afternoon.

King Gregory Carroll Jr., 26, of Antioch, was found about 12:44 p.m. in the 2200 block of Manzanita Way.

Police have revealed very little about Carroll's death. Officers were called to scene for "suspicious circumstances," a spokeswoman said Saturday, but she declined to elaborate on what those circumstances were.

Carroll died of multiple stab wounds, according to acting Sgt. Santiago Castillo. He had been dead for some time when his body was found, Castillo added.

Those with any information are asked to call Antioch police or send an anonymous tip to 274637 using the key word ANTIOCH.
