ANTIOCH -- The number of parking spaces at the Hillcrest Park & Ride will be limited over the next month because of planned construction for eBART, Tri Delta Transit officials said this week.
Starting Wednesday, buses will start circling the parking lot to pick up passengers, which means the number of available parking spaces will be reduced, according to a Tri Delta news release.
Drop-off and pick-up location for the buses will also change.
Buses will not stop on Sunset Drive during construction, rather they will enter the first parking lot entrance on Sunset and circle through the parking lot. Buses will stop and pick up passengers inside the parking lot near the far exit.
Tri Delta Transit reminds commuters that additional parking is available at both the Brentwood and Pittsburg Park & Ride lots. The Brentwood lot is on Walnut Avenue and Dainty Way, while the Pittsburg location is on Bliss Avenue between Harbor Street and Railroad Avenue.
Construction is expected to last approximately one month.
