MARTINEZ -- So far, the race for campaign cash isn't close, based on the Martinez council candidates' finance statements covering July through September. Below are a few notable donations.

Dylan Radke, an attorney, has raised $17,505 and has strong labor union support:

  • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 302, $1,500

  • Ted Radke (his father and East Bay Regional Park District board member), $1,500

  • Gail Murray for BART Board, $1,000

  • UA Local No. 159, $750

  • Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local No. 16, $100

  • Laborers International Local No. 324, $750

  • Councilman Mike Menesini, $100

    Farias, a former planning commissioner, reported $8,413 in cash donations:

  • Friends of Lara DeLaney, $1,000

  • Friends of Rob Schroder, $250

  • Earl D. Dunivan, $250

  • Bisio & Dunivan, $250

  • Dunivan-Dunivan, $250

  • PowerPAC.org Voter Fund, $1,000

  • Foxwood Community LLC (Pleasant Hill), $500

    Incumbent Mark Ross loaned his campaign $1,750 and reported two cash contributions totaling $350. Arsenio Escudero raised $450 and at the forum he said all of his donations except one came from family members.
