ANTIOCH -- A single-alarm fire damaged a vacant four-unit apartment building Thursday morning, but no one was injured, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 9:53 a.m. in the 1500 block of Sycamore Drive, according to a Contra Costa Fire dispatcher. Firefighters had it under control by about 10:15 a.m.

There was no information on the cause of the fire. Bus service on Tri-Delta Transit line 387 was briefly diverted around the scene.
