CONCORD -- A homeless man was behind bars Thursday evening after being arrested on suspicion of stabbing a teenager and an adult outside an apartment complex, police said.

Officer responded to a 9 p.m. call at 1133 Meadow Lane in Concord for a report of a stabbing, said Lt. Darrell Graham.

Outside the complex, police learned a 44-year-old man got into an argument with two males, ages 16 and 32, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victims, Graham said.

One of the victims was stabbed in the shoulder blade, Graham said, and the extent of the other victim's injuries was not known.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals in stable condition, Graham said.
