SAN JOSE -- A 7-year-old boy who was reported missing Monday has been located, police said.

The boy, Isaac Nash of San Jose, was with a family member, police discovered about 9 p.m. A miscommunication between family members was responsible for the missing-person report. The investigation revealed no foul play.

Search and rescue teams from two police agencies had been using tracking dogs to look for Isaac, who had last been last seen in the playground at Grant School.

He was reported missing about 2:05 p.m. Monday by the school staff. He was wearing his school uniform, a white polo shirt with blue pants, and was carrying a gray backpack.
