The eve of Black Friday will be packed with sales galore as retailers kick off the holiday shopping season earlier than ever, with some stores opening at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Retailers are promising a feast of big discounts that are expected to attract mobs to Bay Area malls and shopping centers.
