TRACY -- An angry father called the Tracy school district Tuesday morning to let them know he was headed to an elementary school to hurt a student, police said.
But David Michelucci, 37, never made it to the school. He was arrested by the Tracy Police Department at his home in Lathrop about 9:26 a.m. and booked in the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of making terrorist threats.
His bail has been set at $150,000.
Tracy police said they received a phone call around 8:08 a.m. from Tracy Unified School District employees saying that a man had called the district office and said he was going to Wanda Hirsh Elementary School to harm a student in retaliation for an act against his child.
Police did not detail the act Michelucci said was made against his child.
Multiple officers responded to the school and secured the campus. No one was injured during the incident.
