FREMONT -- A missing at-risk Fremont woman who disappeared from her home over the weekend has been located in good health, police said.

Lillian Wahne, 63, was reported missing at 10 a.m. Saturday by her husband after she walked away from their home in the 4200 block of Ribera Street but was located Sunday evening, said police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques.

At 6:40 p.m. Sunday, a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Fremont Boulevard contacted police and told officers he saw news reports that Wahne was missing, Bosques said.

The congregant told officers he found Wahne at the church Sunday evening so he put her up in a local hotel for the night.

Officers responded to the hotel Sunday night and located Wahne, who was taken to a local hospital where a hold was placed on her for a psychiatric evaluation, Bosques said.

Bosques said this was not the first time Wahne has walked away from her home.
