DANVILLE -- Commuters are asked to drive carefully near the Elworthy property in Danville because of a water line break at a construction site, city officials said Wednesday.

San Ramon Valley Boulevard south of Sycamore Valley Road is closed while repairs are made, and will remain closed until later Wednesday evening.

One lane will be closed near the construction area, with traffic controllers on site to allow traffic to safely move through the area.

Repairs to the line are expected to be completed by 7 p.m. and all lanes are expected to be re-opened at that time.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to be cautious through the area.
