CONCORD -- Friday is the deadline to comment on a draft environmental report for Ygnacio Valley High School sports field improvements, including lights and a public address system.
The report will inform the public and elected leaders of the environmental effects of the project, including light pollution, noise and traffic, and possible ways to reduce any impacts that are significant, according to a Mt. Diablo school district notice.
An initial study detailing the project is at www.mdusd.org. Click on "Community." The study is also available in the district office at 1936 Carlotta Drive in Concord and in the Ygnacio Valley library at 2661 Oak Grove Road in Walnut Creek.
Comments, which are due by 5 p.m. Friday, can be sent to Mitchell Stark at email@example.com or delivered to Holbrook Elementary, 3333 Ronald Way in Concord.
