WOODLAND HILLS - A multi-vehicle collision with possible injuries closed the westbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills this morning as the morning commute was getting under way, the California Highway Patrol reported. | CHECK ALTERNATE ROUTES
At least four vehicles were involved in the crash, which was reported at 4:37 a.m. at DeSoto Avenue, said CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos.
Paramedics were sent to examine people at the scene for possible injuries, but there was no indication that anyone had been transported for hospital treatment, the CHP reported.
All westbound lanes were closed after the accident, but one lane was reopened around 5:15 a.m., and the remaining lanes were reopened about an hour later, according to the CHP's online Traffic Incident Information Page.
