CNN broadcast a surveillance video Saturday night which it says shows a man believed to be alleged triple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner throwing something into a trash bin behind a business in National City on Monday.

The business, a Platinum Auto Sports store, is across the street from the National City Police Department.

CNN says the video was recorded shortly after 9 a.m. Monday and appears to show a man pull up in a dark gray Nissan pickup, get out and begin throwing things into a trash bin.

Shortly after man left the alley, a store employee went to throw out some trash and discovered what had been thrown into the dumpster.

"He (the store employee) came back with a magazine full of bullets, a military belt and a helmet," shop owner Majid Yahyai told CNN.

Yajyai then walked across the street and turned the evidence over over the the National City police.

Police had no comment on the video, but said it was turned over to law enforcement agencies involved in the manhunt for Dorner, according to CNN.
