Domestic violence might be a motive in the murder, LBPD Sgt. David Marander said.

Long Beach resident Kevin Adonis Forrest, 41, was arrested at the scene and booked for murder. He is being held at the Long Beach jail on $1 million bail, Arrona said.

Police wouldn't say if any weapon was recovered at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, Arrona said.
