MALIBU - The 52-year-old son of actor Clark Gable was free on bail today following two collisions on Pacific Coast Highway, leading to his arrest on suspicion of drunken driving and hit-and-run, authorities said.

John Clark Gable posted a $15,000 bond and left the Malibu/Lost Hills station at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Clark was arrested after he allegedly hit a vehicle near the Malibu pier and took off without stopping, then crashed his white Ford Raptor into six parked cars east of the pier at 21322 Pacific Coast Highway at 2:54 p.m. Tuesday, said Sgt. John Skikas of the sheriff's Malibu-Lost Hills Station. He was taken to a hospital for "a blood draw," Skikas said.

Gable was then booked at the Malibu-Lost Hills Station on a misdemeanor charge, according to L.A. County Jail records.
