Bob Dylan is bringing along some mighty talented friends on his summer vacation.
Wilco and My Morning Jacket will join the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer on the AmericanaramA Festival of Music tour. The trek is set to touch down on Aug. 4 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.
Tickets for the Shoreline show are priced at $25 to $89.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. May 4 through. For information about presale and fan club ticket opportunities, visit www.bobdylan.com, www.wilcoworld.net and www.mymorningjacket.com.
Dylan, of course, is no stranger to sharing the road with talented acts. Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp have all joined the songwriting giant on past tours. Mark Knopfler accompanied Dylan on his most recent swing through the Bay Area, in late 2012.
Dylan's most recent studio album — and his 35th overall — was "Tempest." The critically acclaimed album was released in September and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
