The second of John Mellencamp's sons has turned himself into police after being accused -- along with his brother -- of kicking and punching a 19-year-old man in southern Indiana.

According to the Huffington Post, a Monroe County jail officer said 19-year-old Hud Mellencamp was released on bond after being booked early Monday on the felony battery charges. His brother Speck Mellencamp, 18, turned himself in on Friday and was released on bond.

How terrible. I'm shocked. I mean, where do celebrities come up with these names for their children?

On July 29, Speck Mellencamp allegedly approached the victim on the porch of the man's Bloomington home and punched him in the face, believing that man hit him earlier that evening. According to court documents, the brothers and another 19-year-old man "punched, kicked and stomped" the man, who sustained facial injuries.

John Mellencamp's publicist has declined to comment, according to the website.
