SAN LEANDRO -- All lanes are open again after a vehicle on a car carrier clipped a freeway overcrossing and fell onto northbound Interstate 880 on Tuesday afternoon, a spokesman from the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident occurred at 2 p.m. at Marina Boulevard in San Leandro. The spokesman said there are possible minor injuries but more detailed information was not immediately available.

Officers remain on scene under the overcrossing but lanes two and three, which were closed for about an hour, have reopened, the spokesman said.

It was also not clear if other cars traveling on the highway were involved in the crash.
