Julianne Moore will star in the final two "The Hunger Games" movies.

The four-time Oscar-nominee will play President Alma Coin, Lionsgate announced Friday. The 52-year-old actress will playing the stoic leader of the rebellion against the Capitol.

"It's official! Please welcome Julianne Moore as 'President Alma Coin' to the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1&2," the official statement read on the Hunger Games Facebook page.

Shouldn't we be hearing trumpets or something?

Moore's "Boogie Nights" co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman is also joining the cast as Plutarch Heavensbee. The two will star alongside stars of the first film Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

Based on the third book in Suzanne Collins' trilogy, "Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2" are due to be released November 2014 and 2015. The second film "Catching Fire," hits theaters on Nov. 22.
