ALAMEDA -- A 15-year-old at-risk girl who went missing last Friday returned to her school Thursday afternoon and is being interviewed by police, her father said.

Mike Griffith said his daughter, Elisabeth Griffith, went to a school official at Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, where she is a sophomore, about 2:30 p.m. and the official called police.

Griffith said he hadn't spoken to his daughter late Thursday afternoon and has not been informed by school officials or police where she has been for the last six days. He said he also did not know her physical or mental condition.

When she went missing about 6 p.m. last Friday, Griffith filed a police report with the Oakland police and officers opened a missing persons case and entered her information into the national database for missing children.

Police described the girl as "at-risk" because of her age. She also suffers from depression and was without her medication.
