EL CERRITO -- Police have arrested a man on suspicion of breaking into a home last week, a burglary that was caught on surveillance video, authorities said.

Authorities believe Dajuan Desheme Blackwell, 24, of Oakland is one of two men who broke into a home on the 6700 block of Cutting Boulevard on Sept. 24.

The burglary, captured on video and posted by the homeowner on YouTube, shows a suspect knocking on a front door, and then a second suspect using a burglary tool to pry open the door. One of the suspects then kicks down the door, and another hit the security camera with a tool, the video shows. A laptop computer and digital camera were missing from the home, according to police.

Police arrested Blackwell on Saturday when officers saw him walking near the police station at Richmond Street and Donal Avenue wearing the same sweatshirt as the one worn by one of the suspects in the video. The second suspect has not been arrested.
