The state on Monday updated online school quality snapshots for every campus in California, giving the public an easy way to compare test scores and other data over several years.

The California Department of Education developed the snapshot web application last year, combining data from a variety of different sources in one place where parents and community members can access it efficiently. The two-page documents compare student test scores by school, district and state.

In addition, the snapshots provide demographic information for each school, along with college prep course participation, fitness levels and the percentage of students suspended and expelled.

The snapshots are available by visiting www6.cde.ca.gov.
