ANTIOCH -- Police seized more than 400 marijuana plants from an Antioch residence on Friday, police said.
The plants were found by police around 6 p.m., when they were called to a residence on Ashford Court near Yorkshire Drive, Antioch police Sgt. Tony Morefield said. Investigators seized 442 plants, and equipment used to cultivate marijuana, Morefield said.
Police did not release any other information, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation. Antioch's Special Operations Unit is handling the case.
Officers have not released any information about who was running the operation or if any suspects have been arrested.
