SANTA CLARA -- Much-missed wide receiver Michael Crabtree might be on the verge of being game-ready, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday at his weekly press conference.
Asked if Crabtree was close to returning to game action, Harbaugh said, "I think so. I think he's close."
Harbaugh did not rule out the possibility that Crabtree could play in next Monday night's game at Washington
"We'll see, a lot of it's going to depend on him getting out there every day, practicing and see how much of a load he can do," Harbaugh said.
