PINOLE -- Two masked gunmen robbed a smoke shop Wednesday night and made off with cigarettes and cash among other items, police said.

No one was injured in the heist.

Officers responded at 5:56 p.m. to the Smoke & Save at 1259 San Pablo Ave. for a report of an armed robbery that had just taken place, said Pinole police Cmdr. Neil Gang.

Employees told officers that two people dressed in black with black-knit masks over their faces entered the business and that one of them pointed a semi-automatic handgun at them.

The suspects demanded cash and cigarettes and made off with an undisclosed amount of money and other items from the store, police said.

The robbers then got into a silver Audi four-door sedan with paper plates with the word "Concord" printed on it.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 510-724-8950.
