OAKLAND -- Two suspects in a carjacked sport utility vehicle are being sought by police for a series of armed robberies Monday morning in North Oakland.

At least three robberies were committed by the suspects around 10 a.m., police said.

One was in the area of 66th and Raymond streets not far from the Berkeley border. Another was in the 600 block of 63rd Street and the other in the 600 block of 66th Street. All of the victims were confronted on the street and robbed at gunpoint, according to police.

The suspects used a 2009 black Toyota Venza LL, license plate 6CDC832, that was taken during a carjacking Sunday in Oakland.

One of the suspects, armed with a gun, is described as black, late teens, between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet with a thin build, and medium complexion. He was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and baggie clothing, police said.
