Nobody was home at the time so firefighters forced their way inside, Brown said. Firefighters knocked down the blaze in 25 minutes. Fire damage was contained to one room in the house, Brown said.

Firefighters suspect an oil candle left burning as part of a religious shrine sparked the blaze.

"It's always good practice not to leave open flames unattended," Brown said.
