SAN JOSE -- A two-alarm fire at a Willow Glen apartment displaced 17 people Saturday afternoon, the San Jose Fire Department said.

The blaze was reported at 4:29 p.m. at a two-story, six-unit building the 800 block of Delmas Avenue between Fuller and Hull avenues, said Fire Capt. Reggie Williams. Firefighters arrived and found a second-story unit fully engulfed.

They corralled the fire within 20 minutes and fully extinguished it at 5:50 p.m., Williams said. All occupants got out safely, and no injuries have been reported.

The Red Cross has been summoned to provide housing assistance for the displaced residents. A cause for the fire remains under investigation.
