  • "The 40th Annual People's Choice Awards" (9 p.m., CBS): The fans have spoken, and it's time to hand out some glittery hardware in such offbeat categories as "Favorite TV Bromance" and "Favorite On-Screen Chemistry." Those "2 Broke Girls," Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, serve as co-hosts.

  • "Chicago PD" (10 p.m., NBC): Someone obviously loves the Windy City. From the producers of "Chicago Fire" comes this new show focused on cops, not firefighters.

  • "American Horror Story: Coven" (10 p.m., FX): It's the moment fans have been waiting for: Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac finally drops by for her guest-star stint and we're guessing that she fits right in with the witches.

  • "Real World: Ex-Plosion" (10 p.m., MTV): The venerable reality series returns to San Francisco for its 29th season and introduces a whole new twist: The seven roommates arrive at their crib on Sutter Street totally unaware that they will soon be joined by their exes. Can you say, "Drama"?
