During the next month, the California Student Aid Commission is offering workshops in various Contra Costa County cities to help high school seniors and their families learn how to qualify for college financial aid.
The workshops will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the multiuse room and library at Ygnacio Valley High, 755 Oak Grove Road in Concord; from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 23 in the cafeteria and computer labs at Freedom High, 1050 Neroly Road in Oakley; from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Pittsburg High library, 1750 Harbor St. in Pittsburg; from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 25 in the Antioch High library, 700 W. 18th St. in Antioch; from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 25 in the library and computer labs at Mt. Diablo High, 2450 Grant St. in Concord; and from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 3 in the Deer Valley High theater at 4700 Lone Tree Way in Antioch.
