Katy Perry, one of the world's biggest pop stars, is ready to "Roar" for local fans.
The vocalist -- whose song "Roar" was one of last year's top singles -- will bring her Prismatic World Tour to SAP Center in San Jose on Sept. 22. The 46-city tour supports Perry's latest album, "Prism," which debuted at No. 1 and remains in the Billboard Top 10 three months after its release.
Tickets, priced as $28-$150.50 (subject to change), go on sale 10 a.m. Jan. 27 via Ticketmaster. Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets, beginning at 10 a.m. Jan. 21. See www.citiprivatepass.com for more information. Also, fans will also have the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets through Facebook. For more information on the Facebook pre-sale, and other on-sale information, visit www.katyperry.com.
There will be a rotating cast of opening acts on this tour. Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara will each open in different markets, although their specific dates have yet to be announced.
Perry is nominated in multiple categories at this year's Grammy Awards, which takes place January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Most notable, Perry's "Roar" is up for song of the year.
