OAKLAND -- A man was shot and killed in East Oakland on Wednesday night, police said.

Officers responded to 76th Avenue and Rudsdale Street at 7:41 p.m. for reports of a shooting, police said.

When they arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity has not been released.

No suspect information was available.
