SAN BRUNO - A nearly $2 million chunk of the Mega Millions lottery jackpot will go home with one lucky customer of a San Bruno liquor store, California Lottery officials said today.
The owner of the ticket matched five of six numbers in Tuesday night's Mega Millions draw and is due to receive a check for $1.9 million dollars, lottery officials said.
Someone bought the lucky ticket at Huntington Liquor, located at 763 Huntington Ave. in San Bruno.
Lottery officials said the storeowner will also cash in with a $10,000 payment for selling the ticket.
The winning numbers were 11, 19, 24, 33 and 51.
The ticket would have needed to match the Mega number 7 to split the $414 million jackpot with two other winners in Florida and Maryland, lotto officials said.
The ticket owner is urged to sign the back of their ticket in ink, keep it in a safe place and visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible.
The lucky winner has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim the prize.
