• "Quest" (7:30 p.m., KQED): The Emmy award-winning multimedia science series airs its milestone 100th episode to kick off the spring lineup. Tonight's installment, hosted by Simran Sethi, offers a look at a North Carolina inventor building "carcycles." Also: An Ohio engineer transforms flies into fishmeal, and a Nebraska textile expert converts corn husks into fashion.

  • "The Americans" (10 p.m., FX): Now that tensions between Russia and the United States have again heightened, we're watching this cold-war drama with a little more unease. Still can't take our eyes off Philip and Elizabeth (Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell), though.


  • "Down East Dickering" (10 p.m., History):

    This new reality series, set in "down east" Maine, follows a group of colorful guys who wheel and deal their way through life by scouring the classified ads for odd jobs, items to swap, crazy barters and offbeat goods.



  • "Nashville" (10 p.m., ABC): Uh oh, more trouble for Rayna (Connie Britton). Her oldest daughter Maddie (Lennon Stella) posts a video online in which she refers to herself as Maddie Claybourne -- basically revealing to the world that her real father is Deacon (Charles Esten).
