The Uptown Oakland Farmers' Market returns for the season on Wednesday, April 16, with fresh local produce, music and activities for kids.

The weekly market, located at Ordway Plaza, Valdez and 21st streets, will be open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will operate through Nov. 12.

The market is operated by Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association. It supports local California farmers and there will be several new producers along with favorites returning this year.
