  • "Dallas" (9 p.m., TNT):

    It's the midseason finale, and you just know there will be all kinds of drama. Producers have promised plenty of red-hot action on various fronts in an episode fittingly titled, "Where There's Smoke."

  • "Independent Lens" (10 p.m., PBS):

    The latest installment of the documentary series, "The Trials of Muhammad Ali," charts the boxing legend's life outside the ring. The film focuses on his conversion to Islam, his refusal to serve in Vietnam and his struggles with Parkinson's disease.
