Lindsay Lohan says her two-week disappearance from filming her reality TV show was because she had a miscarriage.

Lohan broke the news during the final episode of her OWN show, after being asked to reflect on her experience taping the show, according to TMZ.

"No one knows this," Lohan said. "I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off. It's a very long story, but that's why on the show when it says she doesn't want to come down, I couldn't move. I was sick. Mentally, that messes with you."

It's finally happened -- a Lindsay Lohan story we can't make fun of.

Lohan didn't elaborate further, nor did she identify the man with whom she got pregnant.

Before starting to cry, she continued talking about her time on the show. "Here's the thing, even if it's not my intention to lose everything I've worked for, that's what this addiction will do to me. You guys love it when I cry ... it's a really (expletive) up disease and it's really scary."

E! News reported that, after pulling herself together, Lohan said she's looking forward to starting work on a new film in June.

"I'm happy," she said. "The biggest thing I learned from this experience and doing this show is my work ethic is different. I have that fire back in me."
